Gentle support for hard seasons.

Client-centered and trauma-informed psychotherapy for individuals and couples across California

You don’t have to do it alone.

Maybe lately you’ve been feeling off, like you’re doing everything you can and running on empty.

You get through the day, but somewhere underneath there’s a tension or sadness you can’t shake.

You might wonder why it feels so hard to find ease or why old patterns keep showing up and getting in the way of where you want to be.

Healing is about finding your way back to the parts of you that have been waiting for care.

Together, we can untangle what’s been too heavy to carry alone, help you feel more grounded in your relationships, and reconnect with the self that’s been quietly hoping things could feel different because they can.

Hey. I’m Jen, and I’m so glad you’re here.

In session, you might notice that I’m focused on helping you feel understood and safe enough to heal. I know personally how heavy life and disconnection can feel, and I take time to understand what you’re going through and hope to accomplish. Together, we’ll make space for the parts of you that are struggling and help you reconnect with your strengths.

My style is collaborative, down-to-earth, and open-minded. My background working in community mental health and survivor advocacy shapes my trauma-informed approach and deep respect for the strength and complexity of my clients’ experiences. I also offer free or affordable workshops to make trauma-informed support more accessible in the community.

Outside the therapy room, I enjoy cooking for family, hiking with our dogs, gentle yoga, live music, improv, and reading.

Let’s explore what it could be like working together: jen@psychotherapist.coach

  • My approach is tailored to each client and their goals and needs. I’m trained in evidence-based approaches that help people heal, grow, and reconnect, including Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method, and Schema Therapy. I also integrate tools from CBT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Pragmatic Experiential Therapy for Couples (PET-C) to support you through change. My background also includes advanced training in integrative couples and sex therapy, helping partners navigate intimacy, communication, and trust.

  • I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from a COAMFTE-accredited university, which is a national standard in clinical training. My practicum site emphasized an innovative way of learning psychotherapy called Deliberate Practice, which involves skill rehearsal and in-depth supervision of my sessions by experienced clinicians. What this training means for your experience in our sessions today is that I bring thoughtfulness and dedication in providing care tailored to your needs and goals. This involves checking in with you regularly to confirm that you’re finding our work helpful and then making adjustments to my approach based on your feedback.

Attuned to you.
